About Gold Tola Rate

Gold Tola Rate was built for one simple reason: most people in Pakistan think about gold in tola, but almost every live price feed on the internet quotes gold in troy ounces and US dollars. We do the conversion for you, in real time, and back it up with plain-language guides on everything from unit conversions to buying, selling, and investing in gold.

What we do

Our homepage widget pulls the live international gold spot price (XAU/USD) and the current USD to PKR exchange rate from independent public data sources, then converts troy ounces into tola using the standard conversion factor (1 tola = 11.6638038 grams). The result updates automatically about once a minute.

What we don't do

We are not a jewellers' association, a bullion dealer, or a financial advisory service. The prices shown on this site track the international spot market, which is closely related to — but not always identical to — the official rate published by local gold associations, since local rates also factor in import duty, dealer premium, and making charges. We explain this difference in detail in this article.
