The gold price widget on this site calls our own server-side endpoint (/api/gold-price), which
in turn fetches a gold spot price feed and a currency exchange rate feed on your behalf. Your browser does not
contact those third-party providers directly, and no personal information is included in that request.

We use a small amount of local storage in your browser to remember one thing: whether you've accepted or declined the cookie notice shown on your first visit.
